10th June

Oil & Gold (XAU) retested $1550 but failed to break above the key resistance for a third time in recent sessions. Overall trading with a low of USD$1533 and high of USD $1549 before ending the New York session at USD$1544 an ounce. Was well supported grinding higher on the OPEC disagreement news. WTI Oil Closed +1.19 at $101.93 a barrel.

9th June

Oil & Gold (XAU) Gold came under profiting taking pressure falling through $1540 support. Overall trading with a low of USD$1530 and high of USD $1546 before ending the New York session at USD$1536 an ounce. Oil surged on the back of disagreements in the OPEC meeting about raising output to lower the Price. WTI Oil Closed +2.20 at $101.30 a barrel.

8th June

Oil & Gold (XAU) moved another level higher testing above $1550 before falling back late in the day. Overall trading with a low of USD$1540 and high of USD $1553 before ending the New York session at USD$1544 an ounce. Oil fell back under $99 on concerns about global demand. WTI Oil Closed -1.21 at $99.01 a barrel.

7th June

Oil & Gold (XAU) moved another level higher testing above $1550 before falling back late in the day. Overall trading with a low of USD$1540 and high of USD $1553 before ending the New York session at USD$1544 an ounce. Oil fell back under $99 on concerns about global demand. WTI Oil Closed -1.21 at $99.01 a barrel.

6th June

Oil & Gold (XAU) surged on the weak Non Farm numbers breaking above $1540 and closing on a strong footing. Overall trading with a low of USD$1524 and high of USD $1547 before ending the New York session at USD$1541 an ounce. Oil was able to shrug off sharp losses after the US job numbers missed. WTI Oil Closed -0.18 at $100.22 a barrel.
